Job Summary

The Medical Assistant will work with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the G-medic unit. 

Job Dimension

As the Medical Assistant, you would assist the Health and Safety in speeding up response time to all medical and accident issues and emergencies



  • Attend to sick pilots and  refer them to HMOs / Hospitals if need be and also follow up until the pilot resumes duty.

  • Approve days off

  • Attend to Accident Pilots by administering first aid treatment or move to nearest hospital if the need be

  • Make necessary payments for medical expenses incurred by the company or pilots, and also ensure that there are prompt  refunds. ( If covered under the plan)

  • Invalidation of remittance for pilots with Medical issues after confirming from the HMOs or Hospitals.

  • Deactivation of pilots App for health issues.

  • Create and update the G-Medic Report.

  • Discuss pilots issues with Management

  • Handle the documentation process for  loans for pilots (Strictly Medical issues)

  • Ensure that all pilots are registered under the HMO plan and HMO cards disbursed.

  • Resolve all pilots' complaints about the HMOs or hospitals.

  • Ensure that pilots receive adequate medical care without delay.

  • Inform compliance about bikes to be retrieved for medical issues.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Microbiology, Biology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacy preferred.

  • Excitement to work in a high-growth environment and to help build processes and tools as needed.

  • Critical thinker and good problem-solving and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent Team player.

  • Fast Learner.

  • Good time-management skills

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong verbal and written communicator.

  • Excellent phone and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and medical software programs.
